Carbonization process of Beston biochar making machine

1. High temperature pyrolysis: in general, the moisture and size of raw material should be less than 20% and 50mm; after the pretreatment, we will convey the raw material to biochar reactor by the screw belt conveyor; and then use coal, wood or natural gas as fuel to heat the biochar furnace for 30 minute; next, the raw material will gradually generate combustible gas and charcoal. Generally, the temperature of biochar pyrolysis furnace should keep 650℃to 780℃, and the carbonization time will last for 15 to 20 minutes.

2. Smoke discharge and sulphur emission: the combustible gas generated in the biochar charcoal carbonization furnace will be further processed. At first, the combustible gas will be purified by the spay dedusting system to remove the sulphur harmful components, and then through the condenser system, the tar and wood vinegar will be extracted from combustible gas and stored in different tanks; finally, due to the high caloric value, the combustible gas will be recycled to heat biochar reactor and dryer device, which is the technology of one fire with two steps.

3. Charcoal enrichment: because the temperature of hot charcoal is over 100℃, which can’t contact with air directly. So we usually use cooling system to decline the temperature of charcoal to 30℃, and then collect biochar directly. At present, most of biochar has been sold directly to be used as fuel or additive in many areas. For example, in industry, the biomass charcoal will be used as fuel to melt metal or additive to produce the steel covering; in agriculture, it is the primary material to improve the quality of soil and promote the soil integration, or to produce natural fertilizer.
